Strong winds and driving rain are probably the worst conditions for playing golf in and these are often encountered at Thurso, even in summer.  Despite this the game has been played in Caithness and the north Sutherland coast for more than 100 years.

This challenging 18 hole parkland course has an excellent greenkeeping team hard at work constantly improving the course. Thurso also has a large membership and thriving competition scene all year round.
